Default Training 2x/day and Workout Nutrition

I recently read through the following thread:

training 2x/day and protein synthesis

and was wondering how I would adjust the around workout nutrition recommendations given in The Protein Book for 2x/day training.
  • Would I take the max values for total workout nutrition for the day and divide by 2?
  • Would I use the low end of the values for each training session?
  • Something else?

When I bulk I currently use the high end of the recommendations. This ends up being a ton of my calories for the day.

When you lift twice a day it becomes more important to get protein and some carbs in you straight after the first workout. So you could for example have a protein and carb shake immediately after the first workout. Other than that just make sure to eat enough overall.
