Summer shredz - UD2.0 log
For those of you who don't know I have come a LONG way since beginning my transformation. I have detailed it in my previous log, which you can find here:
Now that I finally feel I am lean enough to give UD2 a go, I will be seeing just how lean I can get over the next 8 weeks following the protocol. I'm basically just doing this to see how lean I can take myself before some upcoming beach trips I have at the end of July into August. I will be following the protocol fairly strictly. Depletion workouts will be Sunday/Monday, tension Wednesday, carb load Thursday and power workout Friday. On every day except Thursday and Friday, I will be performing 1 hour of LISS in the morning with 20mg Yohimbine and 200mg Caffeine taken immediately upon waking.
I will be deviating from the protocol slightly in that I will allow a moderate amount of alcohol into my macros on Friday and Saturday, most likely by removing some carbs as there is no other place to really cut calories from.
I won't be updating this log much. I will post a progress picture every Sunday prior to my depletion workout, and I may log my weight every day if I remember. Maybe post some thoughts or jokes as they come to me
My weight today was 171.4 lbs.
I'm estimating my bodyfat percentage is ~12% (pictures to come, feel free to tell me I'm wrong).
This would mean that I have an LBM amount of ~151 lbs and a fat mass of 20 lbs. I am hoping this 8 week period will see a fat mass loss of 8 lbs with no change or slight increase in LBM, putting me at a cool 7.5% bodyfat.
5/23/17 - Weight: 170.6 lbs (-.8)
Ended up doing 40 minutes of medium intensity cardio and then 40 minutes of low intensity afterwards because I had some time to kill. It occurred to me when I started this log that the scale I used to weigh myself at the start was not my normal scale, and I believe the weight was lower than it should have been. I usually drop 3-4 lbs during the depletion phase, so I may have been closer to 174-175 starting out. Feeling depleted as hell today. Can't wait for the carb load.
Last time I did this diet, I did not plan out my carb loads and almost always went over on fat. I plan to fix this this time. Tomorrow, it will look like this:
Pre - tension:
1 pack of Skittles
1 scoop of whey protein
Post - tension and carb load:
1 pack of Skittles
6 Kroger Cinnamon Raisin bagels
1 scoop of whey
6 tbsp honey
1 box of honey nut cheerios
4 medium sweet potatos
1 cup of rice
6 cups of skim milk
15g creatine throughout the day
This will put me at ~1050g carbs, 180g protein, and 35g fat. Gotta have those Skittles for maximal gainz
