Default High carbohydrate refeeds without drinking a lot of water


The page on whooshes at says that "some individuals who have done dry carb-loads (high carbohydrate refeeds without drinking a lot of water) have seen them occur". I think I've experienced this but thought that the weight loss was due to just not eating that much after dry carb-loading. I didn't associate it with water retention. Anyway, now that I've seen your article and have had the issue of gaining weight on a high calorie deficit / moderate activity diet I'm giving it a second try. I'm just wondering though is there some other way of losing the water besides
dry carb loading or alcohol?

P.S. I tried posting this at the thread on this article but it seems to have been permanently closed due to an argument with the moderator.

From my recent dieting stint I whooshed without doing absolutely anything special. Just spend time in a deficit and it will happen outta the blue.
