Default freezing protein powder for later use

hey,
i have a 4KG of whey protein which will be expired in a little more than a month. i am using it but of course i wont finish it in 30 days..
do you think freezing will extend it shelf life? my concern is because whey powder is so dry, freezing it wont help..
what are your thoughts?
thanks!

Most expiration dates have no basis in food science or pharmacology but are a marketing device. There are exceptions.

Protein powder, if kept dry, will be good long after "expiration". Freezing won't hurt, and would make it last even longer, so, sure, freeze some.

Still working on some from 2010. I'm still alive. I like to live on the edge though. But probably wouldn't recommend waiting that long.

I ate multiple bags of two year expired protein powder. Tasted, smelled, and looked fine. Didn't get me sick or anything. Basically if it isn't clumped and it smells and tastes normal it should be fine no matter what the expiration date is.

I just finished two bags of protein that expired five years ago. And a previously opened can of creatine that I bought fifteen years ago. I think as long as you keep this stuff away from moisture you're probably fine.
