Default Dropping isolation work during cut - risk of losing mass?

I'm curious to know whether (for the sake of saving time in the gym), dropping isolation work that I was performing during a bulk could lead to the loss of some muscle? Or is it best to just perform 1 or 2 sets per muscle group incase?
