Week 3, Day 7 -- halfway done!

AM weight was 138 something, so down a bit, but still above my previous low bounce of 137.8. I'm so impatient!

Yesterday's refeed didn't give me as much pep today as I'd hoped, but a dose of E sure helped.

Food:
- RFL peanut noodles
- over a pound of oven-roasted broccoli and cauliflower (guys, seriously, I can't stop eating this)
- RFL brownies
- hot chocolate made with Soy Slender

Exercise: none.

Steps: 4500, but I was on my feet in the kitchen cooking and cleaning the whole evening, and only picked up maybe 100 steps because the kitchen is so small that the Vivofit doesn't track it when I move around in there. So bad step count but decent TDEE overall.

Week 4, Day 1

AM weight: 137.6 (-11.4 overall)

I have some horrendous gas today. All those vegetables are coming back to haunt me. XD

Up until 4am (!!!!) last night with a sick two-year-old. Thank heavens for EC to get me through the day.

Food:
- some cabbage braised in mulled wine -- this was at work, not 100% sure what was in it, but it seemed pretty RFL friendly, and tasted amazing
- RFL brownies
- green beans and fat free cheese with hot sauce
- Soy Slender hot chocolate

Exercise: nothing formal since I couldn't hit the gym daycare with a sick kiddo. I was going to do some bodyweight stuff at home, but spent the whole evening wrestling with a gingerbread house for a contest on Wednesday. What can I say, I have terrible priorities. I did not nibble at ALL while baking, which should earn me some bonus difficulty points.

Steps: 9,500

Week 4, Day 2

AM weight: 137.2 (-11.8 overall, 3.2 lbs to goal)

Today was really just not my day. $1,300 of fraudulent withdrawals on my debit card -- I'm trusting that I'll get the funds back but I'm going to be stressed until it's resolved. My glucose monitor glitched so I have to get a new one. My gingerbread house collapsed irreparably. Oh, and I'm still emitting endless toxic farts.

Food:
- RFL brownies
- Free meal! 3 tacos and some planned nibbling while working on the gingerbread house
- RFL chips and dip (still need to tweak this recipe ... but it's promising)
- pound of green beans with hot sauce

Exercise:
The one place where I wasn't having a bad day. I felt great, actually! Thanks, carbs!
- Squats 4x45#, 2x10xBW
- Bench 3x15x45#
- One-arm DB row 3x15x20#
- Back extensions on Roman chair 3x15
- 10 minutes diastasis recti exercises
- 20 minutes easy walking on the treadmill

Steps: 10,500

Week 4, Day 3

AM Weight: 137.2 (-.2 from yesterday, -11.8 overall, 3.2 to goal)

Woke up crabby and cold and over it. But I remember this happening last week, too. I think I get about three days of serotonin out of a refeed and then I burn out. So it was easy to just grind through. I will probably make my next free meal low-fat/high-carb -- kind of a mini refeed -- to see if I can push back the mood crash a little longer.

I was FREEZING all afternoon and evening. I ate 2/3 of my planned food the minute I got home from work just to try to get some TEF heat going. No luck.

I managed to bake chocolate chip cookies without licking the beaters or resenting my children.

I am still a stink storm and I have stopped hoping it will resolve. This is my life on RFL. This is my reality.

Food:
- RFL brownies with frozen Cool Whip Free
- lean ground turkey (drained/rinsed/blotted) and steamed broccoli with mushroom soy sauce and ginger
- 1/2 cup ff greek yogurt with vanilla

Exercise:
- 90 minutes easy walking on the treadmill
- 10 minutes diastasis recti exercises

So far today at work my co-workers have offered me a chocolate-glazed donut, heated up a delicious-smelling enchilada, and asked if I wanted to get in on a Jimmy John's order for the whole team.

I'm usually not bothered by sudden temptations (food sitting around for days is what makes me completely lose my chill) but today is getting to me. Harrumph, I say.

Week 4, Day 4

AM Weight: 134.8 (-2.4 from yesterday, -14.2 since diet began, .8 to goal) -- I must have jumped on and off the scale half a dozen times just to be sure but last time I got a big whoosh I stalled for well over a week. So trying not to get TOO excited about the finish line being in sight.

As for the rest of the day, feeling physically decent (if hungry) but mentally 100% ready for tomorrow's refeed. Bleh.

Food:
- midnight snack of frozen Cool Whip Free
- RFL brownies
- lean ground turkey with a pound of green beans and fat-free cheese

Exercise: none

Steps: 5000
