![]() i've listened to lyle's latest podcasts/interviews, and he's mentioned that the 5 hour refeed does not help fight against adaptations that take place during dieting.
are people on this board taking what he said, and applying it to their category 2 plan? and by that, i mean are we just not doing the weekly 5 hour carb refeed anymore as category 2 RFL'ers? because my understanding from his podcasts/interviews, is that lyle talks about the 5 hour refeeds in a context of 'dieting that is not RFL'. but dieting that is RFL, would still require the 5 hour refeeds. is this correct? |

I find this works great. Maybe the 5hour doesn't get your hormones back 100% but maybe it does just enough to keep things going with fat loss even if it is only a 20-25% improvement, maybe that is enough?, at least that is what I see from years of doing this.
