Default Flu Aches

Well, I seemed to have caught the flu. I had a slight temp about a week ago and started to feel tired with little bit of weezing in the chest. Its been going around at work. But what is really disconcerting to me is the muscle cramps in my quads. I have had charlie horses to the extreme if I just climb stairs for even a little bit etc. I have been hydrating and eating lots of veggies and fruits (as always) but I have never had this extreme pain for so long.

Anyone know the mechanism for this? Someone told me that K is being taken out of the muscles for whatever reason to help fight off the virus.

Depends on what type of flu you have, but Influenza commonly causes mild muscular inflammation, which can lead to those aches and cramping feelings.
