Hi Lyle,

I was just wondering if you could clarify the ratios as it pertains to Body Weight vs. LBM

You wrote the following:

Protein 0.8-1.5 g/lb (1.76-3.3 g/kg)
Carbohydrates 1-3 g/lb (2.2-6.6 g/kg)

I read the article twice, and from it I gathered that Calories pertained to Body Weight, Protein pertained to LBM, Fat pertained to Body Weight, and I was not sure about Carbohydrates (though I was more inclined to lean toward LBM similar to Protein).

Thanks in advance for your input.

If you're lean enough to bulk the difference between using lbm and bodyweight would be too inconsequential to matter.
