Thanks. Since we're at it... What's the correct daily dose? I seem to find contradicting sources. Currently, I'm using a total daily dose of 6g.

I bought it on myprotein, in label is said to take 2g twice a day. I would start with lower dose like that, and slowly build up if there's no effect.

Well, yeah, that's only one study... I'm seeing quiet a lot contradicting doses, that's why I'm wondering. I feel that most tend to be on the low side:
- One dose: 4-8g pre workout
- Two doses: 2-4g pre workout and 2-4g inter workout

Anyway, I'll try to experiment a little. A visual cue like a pump is easier to measure than the lack of DOMS. So I'm wondering what's the correlation between the amount of pump and the degree of recovery?
- If I notice a good pump, is it ensured that CM will optimally assist recovery?
- Does consuming more CM yield more recovery but the same pump?
- Does consuming less CM yield more pump but the same recovery?
Anyway, you get my drift

This is just my guess behind mechanism.

Vasodilation refers to the widening of blood vessels. The primary function of vasodilation is to increase blood flow in the body to tissues that need it most. ( from wikipedia).

And increased blood flow assists in recovery, pubmed says:

I like to sip on Xtend BCAA powder. It's got no calories with electrolytes and a nice dose of citrulline per scoop.

10g of BCAA from Xtend (1.5 scoops) will give you 1.5g of Citrulline Malate.

I like taking 1.5 scoops 5-15 minutes pre-workout. I feel during is great for the longer workouts over 1-2+ hours or if you need the electrolytes in a shorter workout. Also, it's awesome if you prefer training with less volume of food in your stomach.
