Back squat is overrated if you are an Oly lifter. It's important, but not that important. The Chinese and Bulgarians back squat, but they don't focus on it the way they focus on the classic lifts.

And where in the article did I indicate that I was talking about Olympic lifters? OH wait, I made one comment about squatting TECHNIQUE to make a point about depth and somehow you read that completely wrong as recommending back squats to OL'ers. Who do back squat even if ELITES don't put as much focus on it. Suggestion: try seeing the forest, not the trees.
