With this new information, does this change any recommendations for the Ultimate Diet 2.0 when it comes to pre- and post-workout drinks? Would it be more effective to eat the equivalent carb/protein amount in real food (and milk) as opposed Ultra Fuel and protein powder?

"Donít drink sugar sweetened soda of any form regardless of the sweetener; They offer nothing to the diet that canít be had elsewhere and I see no reason for their consumption at all, regardless of what sugar is present."

hell yeah! When people see me gorging post workout and laugh that I drink diet soda, I'm gonna drop this line

That's where they invented sports drinks & mass gainers for.

The article was meant for people on a diet , wanting to lose fat or maintain their current BW
