Off Day

Was supposed to go to the gym today, but elected to sleep more. I didn't get my first EC dose until 8am, so I avoided the 4pm dosage. Gym early tomorrow, so I'll get all three tomorrow. I weigh in Wednesday morning, so I'll determine then if it'll be a low calorie week. Criteria: if I lose weight (more than a negligible amount) I won't do low calorie. My bet is that I'll be doing low calorie.

In unrelated news, I've been practicing my programming skills in my spare time. I've been building my own little version of myfitnesspal. The only real goal of the project was to have the feature of template days (like daily goals) that can be scheduled in a sequence (a paid feature on MFP). I'm almost there with it, though a lot of polishing is needed.

I ended up skipping the gym this morning. I elected to sleep more. Anyway, I have to go tomorrow.

I also weigh in tomorrow morning too. I'm hoping for good things. Judging before weighing in, I think the EC stack helps a decent amount. Whether that 100-200 extra calories burned a day matters or if it is the partitioning characteristics - I feel like things went pretty good for a relatively minor deficit this week. Today my lower ab skin/fat seemed extra wrinkly. I have obvious excess skin left over from my weight loss. Hard to say if it is just that I'm drained of water or the light today did it, but I'll get an idea tomorrow.

Weigh in day

Week 0 (Starting): 86.95kg (191.7lbs)
Week 1 (Low Calorie): 82.80kg (182.5lbs) -4.15kg/-9.2lbs
Week 2 (Moderate Deficit): 82.70kg (182.3lbs) -0.10kg/-0.2lbs

Basically a negligible move. I woke up this morning with stomach pains. From what I can tell this was based on hunger, but I've never felt that sort of pain associated with hunger. I've done fasting and nothing like this. I got some food into me and felt better.

I'm going to proceed with another mild deficit week. I said before if it was negligible I would go low calorie, but after waking up with these pains I'm going to stick with something more moderate. It'll give me another taste of weight change between low calorie and moderate. I imagine with the low calorie weigh in, I was quite empty. This time around I should have more glycogen and other nutrients in the system.

My girlfriend made some brownies and I consumed some of that. Nothing else to report though.

I was just thinking and reflecting on how far I've come. As I was sort of a downer a few days ago. I've come very far. And even though this year has been a very slow grind of weight loss (12lbs over 7 months), but I know I was leaning out. At the first of the year my biceps camd out of the fat of my upper arms. That area between your elbow and bicep has fat in it. It has been slowly reducing and going down. Veins in my biceps and shins are popping out. It's sort of weird seeing them on my legs. I am leaning out and even though I may have been going slow, it's been in the right direction!

Another day down. I was planning on going to the gym this morning, but elected to sleep more. I'm not sure what is up with me because I rarely ever skipped the gym - even when I had a bad sleep. I would just suck it up and go. Ever since I started the EC stack, I've been desiring more sleep.

I'll definitely be going to the gym tomorrow.

Nothing else to report. I stay away from the scale as much as possible, aside from official weigh ins, as I don't find the swings in the number (day to day) to be useful. Just working my way toward day 21 weigh in.

Definitely a higher than normal calorie day. I'm honestly not sure if the number should be the high, but when in doubt I estimate higher calories. I had some homemade chicken wings today - so hard to predict where I was at. Plus I went to Dairy Queen for ice cream - which is worse calorie wise than one would assume.

Anyway, I'll make up for it with a severe deficit tomorrow.

I don't know if I have to do a few days of low calorie with lots of protein to get that no hunger feeling, but the EC stack is definitely not helping today.

I procrastinated with my ephedrine purchase, so I sort of screwed myself with that. I only have 8mg left. I ordered today, so hopefully only a day or two without any.

Not sure where the calories are at, but I'll assume around 2400. My order of ephedrine is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. I have an off day at tomorrow and then it'll be weigh in day.

I have a weigh in tomorrow. Hopefully not too much sodium in the system.

I was thinking I'll do a few maintenance days and then have a low calorie week. I'm not sure I'm mentally in the right place to hop right into a low calorie week.

I'm also scheduled to take measurements tomorrow too. The timing of these measurements are not timed to this particular journal - just my overall progress. I'll share the results from that too.
