Default Depletion - Substituting Shoulder Press for Lateral Raise

I was wondering if anyone has tried using shoulder presses to deplete muscle glycogen in their deltoids instead of lateral raises. Of course, bench press is going to deplete the front head of the delts, so it would be important to utilize form that is ensuring stress is placed on the lateral heads.

Sounds like a chore by the time you do so many sets do you think you'll have the energy to do more.presses and if you do ensure that tris aren't doing half the work?

I did a depletion work out today and came to this conclusion as well. The delts get hammered from pressing and pulling, so I will stick with lateral raises.
