Default Why does it have to taste good?

This RFL diet is so simple & easy to follow.
Just eat all you can of fresh or steamed vegetables that include no hi-carb veggies as beans, corn, etc....No limit!...Easy!
No sugar, no carbs, no fruit, and for me, nothing added but maybe a little mustard, vinegar, and/or potassium salt...Why add any of the former stuff, even small amounts, to make things taste good?...
Why add processed food?...It just complicates things..
Drink at least 6 big 20oz. glasses of water each day and do some exercise..
Make a batch of chicken breasts, cut up into 3/4" pieces, add water, a Tbspn of Lea & Perins sauce with potassium salt & pepper, cook on "Hi" in a crockpot for 4 hours, keep in fridge for weighing out portions for future meals...So easy!
People forget how good the natural taste of fresh food is...
Why not just do this simple diet as stated exactly in the RFL manual and you're guaranteed to lose weight!
Why complicate things by adding a lot of stuff just "to make it taste good"?

One more benefit to not having things taste so artificially good by adding mayonnaise, ketchup, barbecue sauce and all the rest of the prepared, man-made flavors that we all have gotten used to putting on everything is this ->
It makes the good naturally-flavored foods that we eat not so addicting.
Therefore, because we do not crave it as much, we tend to eat less quantity of food.
By doing that. and taking in less calories, we tend to lose even more weight...
A good situation all around...

What is your point?
Do you have anything constructive to say?

Because some people will be on RFL for weeks or months with only the occasional diet break or a couple of free meals a week. It is nice to have food that does taste good from time to time. There's only so much enjoyment a person can get from plain chicken breast and green beans.
