![]() Hi there! I'm a cat 2 female who recently started my first PSMF. The first 4 days I started, I definitely did NOT eat over my daily 20g of net carbs. However, as I was browsing and reading through Lyle's pinned FAQ for PSMF, I realized that I overate the amount of carbs allowed per meal. Lyle mentions that "3-5 grams of each per meal is about the max before you're no longer doing the diet in any way shape or form." However, for breakfast I was eating 7 g of carbs (my fat-free yogurt aka my daily dose of dairy).
Everything else was according to the PSMF diet rules, however. Also, I was definitely already feeling the effects of the keto flu, lack of calories, etc. Therefore, I was wondering: should or shouldn't I count these first 4 days as part of my 6-week PSMF run? Thank you so much! Any insight would be greatly appreciated. |

![]() Your body doesn't know that you had 2 extra grams of carbs (8 whole calories) at one meal. Hit your daily numbers and carry on. Please don't do this diet longer than 6 weeks.

![]() It's literally a hundred or two cals worst case. So you lost .06 lbs fat less..maybe. far too trivial to even think about
