not the best choice, quality isn't fantastic compared to whole egg

use it with other whole food protein sources

throw some fat free cheese in it to raise the quality

I thought whole egg would have too much fat for psmf.

It does. But the whites alone are, as Lyle stated, not the best choice as a sole source. I make egg white omelets with a generic brand Egg Beaters, fat free cheese, whatever meat's handy, and Tabasco. Yummmm...

The omelet is a good idea I will keep that in mind but, I am looking for a protein source that would be good for three to four meals of a total of six a day monday thru friday. I know whole foods are the best but I need soemthing that is easy and fast.

Would micellar casein be a good choice ?

I know I could pre cook meals to have whole foods throughout the day but I hate eating food that has not been cooked from fresh or raw right before I eat it.

In what way?

Dunno. I suppose it would be if you ate enough of it, day in and day out, but that sounds boring as hell.

That cow in your backyard annoy the neighbors?

I've found Lyle's version of a PSMF to be fantastically effective and easy for me to follow. But it becomes increasingly difficult when you put conditions on it: vegetarian, "whole" foods, freshly cooked, etcetera.

You might want to consider one of his other diets that would be easier to follow with "conditions".

FF cottage cheese for a few meals? Canned tuna or chicken breast? A chicken breast pounded flat with the heel of your hand, and then quick fried in PAM and a non-stick pan is fast. Pork tenderloin still tastes good reheated, IMO.

Agree with David, though--you'll find a PSMF easier if you can bend your food rules a little.

Micellar casein only = V(elocity)-Diet. The fluid diet for people that hate to cook and/or start overeating when they touch real food.

Why 6 meals? Is that because you feel best with 6 meals or because you believe you must eat 6 meals to conserve metabolism. The latter is not true.

Personally though I did experience a slow-down on 2 meals (am/pm) but not on 3 meals/day. 3 meals are more satisifying than 6. Try it if you aren't experiencing hypo's from too low blood sugar levels.

I'm having pork tenderloin for breakfast. Right out of the fridge. Yum.

I didn't realize egg white pp wasn't a good deal. I have a few containers of the Jay Robb stuff. It does taste pretty disgusting.

I didn't think I was putting conditions on anything. I just need a protein powder that has a many of the essentials as I can get (the best protein for psmf)

I want something fast for breakfast, sometimes lunch and for my break time at work.
