Just trying to BEATMEOUTTAME anyway I can.

Knocked out sets of pullups today with 9 reps at ~168 lbs. That either beats or matches my all-time high. Going to keep adding a rep each workout until I get to 12. Then i will add a chain.

And yes I'm a total psycho but I'm committed to adding this muscle and then doing the fat loss thing like a total champion. I know I won't look huge but i want to have some muscle and be as lean as possible this summer.

Went to the gym at 3:30 AM to squeeze in a workout. Got a massage at lunch lined up to hopefully nurse this lower back injury from a few months ago.

Trying to continue to eat eat eat.

Consequences dictate our course of action. And it doesn't matter what's right. It's only wrong if you get caught.

Default Don't call it a Comeback!

Wow. Quite the ride these past few years.

Blew a killer job, girlfriend, etc on an epic drinking and drug bender living on the beach. Then managed to blow through a six figure retirement account on a 38 state, nationwide tour. Got arrested a handful of times. Got stopped by homeland security during the DNC.

I grew a beard on just half my face for a year and traveled around meeting people and doing cool stuff like hiking grand canyon, several other national parks, etc. Hit about every casino in the USA. Almost drove off a mountain on accident. Got in a feud with a landlord and multiple bouncers that resulted in complete chaos including death threats and Had my vehicle impounded. Got evicted from beach house. Sold my house and spent 12 years of equity on drugs and partying in a matter of months. Had a full search brigade of officers looking for me in bullet proof vests when I went "on the Lam" for a few weeks. Teetered the edge of suicide, committing murder, and everything in between. It really was a beautifully orchestrated spiral. I tried to ride it out to the end to see if I could go where no one's been but I decided to get off the elevator before I hit bottom.

Ended up in rehab and a halfway house now fully committed to hitting my macros.

Entered rehab at 170. Bulked up to 180 and probably 22-24% bodyfat. Off to a great first week though I'm 169 probably 20-22%. Going straight to 15% before I take a 2 week diet break.

I'm using 140 LBM as my estimate but it could be closer to 135. Was facing jail time and gother depressed and lost serious lower body mass. I am currently able to do 3 sets of 4 pull ups so let's call it 5 pullups. Goal is 30.

I can't take yohimbine due to me testing positive for amphetamines when I checked into rehab due to them. I also can't take ephedrine due to drug testing. Also, I will not be taking caffeine pills as I have strict wake up and bedtimes and have to sit through ~6 hrs of meetings each day.

I am doing yoga and am allowed out on Fri- Sunday to go to a normal gym. During the week I have access to a pullup bar, treadmill, 30 lb dumb bells, and a poor man's 1980 style "20 exercises" machine.

45 days sober from all illicit drugs (and I mean ALL THE DRUGS) And alcohol and ready to get the body I've always tried to attain while abusing substances.

On antidepressants and bipolar medication which numbs my appetite which is nice for rapid fat loss.

Set protein to 170g and got my fish oils.

I don't like the Drugs but the Drugs liked me. It was a long, beautiful downward spiral that I thoroughly enjoyed and hated. For some reason i craved the self destruction. Now I'm looking forward to the challenge of rebuilding everything.

Had a great week dieting.

Scale reads 171 and 21.0% bodyfat. I'm not sure how I was at 169 last week I must have been fully depleted because when I got back to the house I was around 174 or so and 23.5% bodyfat.

Clearly just some weird water weight shuffling early in the diet.

I have terribly uneven fat storage as my upper back looks incredibly lean and my lower back is getting close. Still rocking a nice little belly but I can see a little of the top abs poking through and the obliques are coming in.

No decrease in strength been working hard to ensure I keep up those levels. Really excited to duck under 20% this week and I hit 50 days clean today.

Default Home for the weekend

Lifted then came home to my parents house for the weekend and decided to carbload since my mom had cooked. Ate a relatively clean dinner and then flushed it down with cereal, popcorn, and crackers. Felt great. Helping them move stuff out of a house they sold tomorrow so it just wasn't practical to try that depleted.

Weighed in at 168.6 and 19.6% this morning. Extremely noticeable visual results thus far.

Still stuck at 2 sets of 4 pull ups but I'm getting better extension/form and it's gotten much easier.

Even though I intended to do rapid fat loss this has really been more like UD 2.0 since I can only hit gyms with heavy weights on fri/sun and do depletion type exercises on tuesday...

Just making due with what I have to work with. Really excited with the results and consistency I've had so far.

Two weeks ago I was rocking a giant belly and now it's flattened out significantly.

Wow, I really gained a crapton of weight in treatment and the fat has been coming off unmercifully slow despite my best adherence ever to Rapid Fat Loss protocol.

Wellbutrin is supposed to cause slightly increased metabolism and Depakote slightly slower so I figured those would net out.

I look into Trazodone (alpha 2 receptor) and it looks like all kinds of horror stories of people gaining huge sums of weight which I certainly did in treatment. As someone with typically very fast metabolism I can't believe how slowly the weight is coming off despite zero drinking and tiny amounts of fat/carb consumption.

Dropping the trazodone. Pretty frustrated with the results after 3 hardcore weeks of dieting but I guess in the long run this is a minor setback. Hopefully this will be the key, I was expecting to be at 15% this weekend for a 2 week diet break.

Locked in at about 168 and 21.5% on the scale before bed tonight. Guessing I'm closer to 19-20%.

I've been eating nothing but omega3 fats so I guess the one positive is that the fat in my cells should theoretically start being much easier to mobilize in the future. Hoping it doesn't take too long to reverse the effects this medicine has on me.

I was out of town last weekend and adherence wsop impossible so I ate around maintenance and decided to keep it there all week. Going to do one more week at adherence to try to reset leptin levels.

Have already noticed nice changes around the gut. I'm not sure if that's a whoosh from reducing sodium intake (heavy marinade on chicken breasts) or if its from dropping the trazodone but the visual results are welcome.

Going to adhere perfectly after the break for two weeks before thanksgiving which should get me near 15% in time for another 2 week break. Then ill go 3.5 weeks at a ~2 lb deficit + 2 weeks maintenance before I go into a 16 week bulk Jan 1.

Was really hoping to get down to 10% before the new year but it's not quite in the cards. Rare access to heavy weights or cardio and effects of the trazodone combined with being too fat at the start... not gonna let it get me down though.

Hoping to end up around 160 lbs, 140 LBM. Or 12.5% body fat. I may incorporate some of the Jolio school of HIGH PROTEIN and massive amounts of slow cardio with intermittent fasting just to test my ability to get a bit lower. We will see.

I got up to 6 pullups but decided to really focus more on my technique while I'm in the most important natural strength building rep ranges (5-8 reps) so I've started going dead hang and pulling my chest up to the bar. I got 3 sets of 4 yesterday albeit some serious form slippage on the final set.

I really, really want to hit 37 pullups on August 24th to prove a theory of mine. So I'm going to focus on pullups everyday for a year.

Default Woohoo

I just realized there's no reason I have to do rapid fat loss... and if i switch to a moderate deficit I'll actually lose more fat between now and year end since I won't have to take as many breaks to reset metabolism.

I've got 6 weeks left to diet until Dec 17, then I can go maintenance for the last 2 weeks of the year prior to the bulk.

I'm guessing I'll be like 170-172 lbs and 21% on the scale when I weigh in tomorrow but I look much closer to 17-19% visually as I'm really getting relatively skinny. My fat distribution is poor so of course it's all in my gut. And I have Anterior pelvic tilt (working hard to correct it, great progress so far). But the rest of me is quite thin particularly my back. Have noticed some of my boxer briefs are stretched out now so clearly my legs have thinned out a large amount as wellong.

Okay ~160 lbs at ~140 LBM, here we come.

Default Still on it

Well I'm down to about 166-167 in pounds and will hit 90 days sober next Wednesday

Was mostly water weight dropping off as I went back to low carb with a moderate deficit this week. Adhered well.

Starting to think 140 LBM may be a little high of an estimate. Could be closer to ~135, hoping that isn't the case. Going to keep dieting until at least Dec 17th hoping to be as Low as possible.

Nursing a bit of a sore hamstring but overall my lifts are not declining at all. My upper body is pretty strong relative to where it's been in the past. My legs are somewhat weak due to very little use the 4 months prior to rehab and the gym I'm using is inadequate for leg lifting.

164 lbs. And I'm guessing 135 lbm is pretty accurate. My compliance has been very strong with the exception of thanksgiving where i went maintenance for the day.

I'm really getting antsy to start bulking. I'm thin as hell with nice definition everywhere but my gut which is a wasteland.

My progress has stalled on correcting the anterior pelvic tilt. After new years i will have access to a really nice university gym rather than the I need to read the rules post.I need to read the rules post.I need to read the rules post.I need to read the rules post.ty planet fitness I'm using.

I've spent the last few weeks pouring over my old copies of Starting Strength and Practical Programming as well as my old copies of Lyles books and articles on the site.
