Default Looking Lean after Depletion than Carb load

So when I wake up after depletion workouts, I look lean and somewhat flat maybe, but I can see my flat abs.
However, after carb load, my stomach definition is gone.
Is that stomach definition temp because of low cals or is it that my carb load is bad. I think I do keep fats below 50g and carbs to 800-900 range. (My wieght is 155lbs)

I think i look better the day after power workout. Not the day after carb load (i.e power workout day)
But feel like I look the best and leanest the day after depeletion workouts.

Well there are several factors this might cause this.
Once you start your carb up: lack of water intake, excessive carbs, amount of fibre (reason for bloating in some ppl)...
I tried carbing up with 600g (i usually carb up with 1000-1200g) and managed to remain a high water intake and i looked great.
But yea...i think we all look better after the power workout day
Experiment...play with the parameters.

Wow, that is a lot of carbs!

How much do you weigh and how did you spread out the carbs over the meals to facilitate the carb-up?

So I normally try to do 100-150g carbs in 8 meals in that 24hr period from Friday night to Saturday night. And try to be between 800-900g carbs.

I see, what is your bodyweight to accomodate the 1000g of carbs.

Have you tried more? did you spill oveR?
