I have been in long periods of eating below maintenance though, which I believe is what was being asked.

The point of BigPecsPeter is that your hormones wouldn't be screwed up compared to someone that is lean. Hence, your sex-drive will not be affected to a noteworthy extend.

I wonder if anyone else noticed this. Every time I cut to a decent amount of leanness (single digits, best case reached 7%ish), the drop in sex drive is abated somewhat. First time, 0 libido for 2 weeks at a point, 2nd time not as bad, etc...

Well in the initial question asked it was stated if hormones were the same.
