8 mile hike yesterday followed by a Shrimp/Crab Toasted Sourdough with Cheddar, Cup of New England Clam Chowder, Side Salad and a Bread Pudding for dessert. Washed it down with my first Double IPA in 2 months.

Man, that was satisfying! Celebrating tonight with some friends, going to tour an Aircraft Carrier. After tonight I'm going to be a little more strict with my FDB and meet my maintenance calories instead of going over.

Happy Holidays

I've been maintaining at 195 for FDB. This week will be FDB + E/C Stack to counter all of the times I'll be eating out with my parents.

Last night I had a Smoked Salmon Panini with side salad and 8 mini pieces of Bruschetta.

Today will be Indian food truck style turned restaurant for lunch and not sure for dinner.

Family flew out this morning, so I'm going to be getting back into the swing of things for a few weeks before Christmas.

Went out to eat with the family daily, but did fairly well considering. Sometimes when I knew it was going to be heavy, I'd slip in an E/C stack.

To be honest, I'm surprised how "solid" I feel considering the long break from the gym to heal the knee. I did a couple of hikes in the last few weeks with no problems whatsoever and this last hike was 10 miles.

I have a LOT on my plate for the next month, and the gym takes a back seat while I get everything ironed out. However, I'll keep on the diet and home workouts.

It's goshdarned exciting isn't it? Nothing like looking in the mirror after a grueling workout and seeing what appears to resemble a bodybuilder looking back at you. And even though I'm 17 lbs (or thereabout) lighter, I swear I look bigger...So close, but yet so far! Well, just enjoy the fruits of your labor for a little while, then GIT YER BUTT BACK IN THE GYM!
