I am going to be playing in a week long baseball tournament in one week and was wondering what types of things I should be doing during that time to help with my recovery. I have been doing a little hitting, throwing, running, and lots of stretching but my body will definitely not be ready for this much physical activity as I typically sit at a desk all day. I will have access to a full training facility so I'll have access to heat, ice, ice baths, hot tubs, etc.
Other than continuing my stretching/mobility work I was planning on icing my arm at the end of each day as well as not being stingy with how much I eat.
Any advice for other things I can do to keep me going throughout the week without feeling too sore and trying to avoid injury as much as possible?
