Default Hormonal Re-Set (for lack of a better term...)

Hi all,

Just finishing up a weight cut (nothing fancy; BW x 10 cals, 1g protein per lb BW etc etc) and am doing 2 weeks of maintenance calories now for the sake of all those hormonal adaptations Lyle talks about.

Thing is, I would quite like to do another week of dieting,I'm thinking a PSMF, just to strip off a little bit more.

Were I to do the PSMF for a week after my 2 weeks at maintenance, would I need to then do a period of maintenance calories afterwards, or could I go straight back into a calorie surplus without risking turning into a walrus?

Thanks

1) How long was the cut?
2) What is your bf%

Either way it is a safe bet to do a diet break.

This question gets asked a lot. The answer almost always is...do a diet break. It never hurts.

I really have! I've even read a couple of the books. The embarrassing thing is, I actually thought I understood...

The point of maintenance period BEFORE turning to bulking has been made over and over again. In fact, there's an entire article dedicated to JUST that topic. Fancy that.
