Default Protein bars without whey concentrate and sugar alcohols?

I have been having some GI issues where I get really bloated after eating certain foods, I have been working on an elimination diet to rule some foods out and it is still a work in progress but it seems like sugar alcohols are one of those "bad" foods for me. I already knew I had issues with lactose (I always avoid whey concentrate) and so I had been eating Quest bars but now one of those gives me trouble so I am trying to find some protein bar I can eat that doesn't have those ingredients. It won't be a cornerstone of my diet or anything but it is nice to be able to have high protein snacks that I can keep at work or while traveling.

Any suggestions?

I find most every protein bar to be terrible to the taste, Quest are like eating cardboard to me. I believe they have whey in them, but are sugar alcohol free and that's Cliff Builder bars. About 20g of protein and 210 calories for most of the bars. The chocolate peanut butter tastes just like a Snickers, I can't recommend them highly enough if you tolerate the whey ok.

A protein isolate shake and a small snickers bar. Cheaper and tastier

Unfortunately Quest Bars have erythritol in them, at least the ones I have. It could definitely be another ingredient that is giving me issues, I know some people have problems with the fiber they add, but I have had issues with sugar alcohols in the past. The builder bars do taste great but from what I remember they have soy protein in them which I thought was supposed to be avoided for men.

From what I could find the only ones that seem like might work are the ones made out of meat but the one I have had of those in the past (some sort of bacon bar) was absolutely horrible.

Small Snickers Bar seems like an oxymoron. 'Cause why? Makes no sense. Like Fat Free Twinkie. WTF is that?!?!

I want my junk food large and junky! Or just don't bother.
