Default Had to travel, got flabby and out of shape

Only got to workout 2x a week, half-assed and didn't track calories. I look pretty bad compared to my former peak.

Would it be stupid to jump into PSMF? Or should I eat at maintenance and build some fitness back up first? I have a lot of bromo from last year. Bad idea to start using it immediately?

My strength and work capacity is shot. I went from having no hunger and being fine only eating a low calorie meal at dinner while being sub 10% to being hungry and needing to eat every 3 hours while at 17% or so.

Half-way measures don't get very far. You can only do one thing well at a time. Trying to gain muscle while losing fat will result in failure.

Get to 10% bodyfat first while lifting weights heavy 3x a week with reduced volume. Two weeks maintenance. Bulk up slowly (1 lb weight gain per week max), focus on getting stronger, measure body composition changes often.

This. Get your strength back at close to maintenance then go back to cutting.
