Peri-Workout Nutrition Around Multiple Workouts Per Day
On my training days, I split my workouts into three sessions. First thing in the morning, I do my main lift ~30 minutes of a squat, DL, or heavy press movement. Lunch time, I do my accessory work (higher reps, less weight), also ~30 min. After work, I'll do 30-45 minutes of conditioning work (prowler, high rep atlas stones, etc.)
My general battle plan is:
AM Session: No phase I meal since I'll be sleeping, no real phase II either. Phase III (as prescribed in the book) and my Phase IV will be breakfast.
Noon Session: Phase I is essentially breakfast, Phase II (not sure I need it since it's a lighter session), Phase III (as prescribed in the book), Phase IV is lunch.
Evening session: Phase I is lunch earlier, Phase II as prescribed, Phase III as prescribed, Phase IV is dinner.
Does that seem reasonable enough?
