Default Question about protein intake while cutting.


Im currently hitting 1.5g per pound of lean body mass for protein on my cut.
My caloric intake is 1400 currently, so my diet consists of mainly protein shakes and barley any solid food.

I know Lyle states his max recommendations for protein are generally higher than most, as hed rather go with too much than too little, but is it likely Im going to see muscle loss of I drop my total intake 20 grams or so? Just to give me a bit more variety.

I was on lower before and my strength seemed to be retained fine while cutting, but Im nervous to drop my intake for fear of losing mass.

Im around 15% bodyfat right now, wanting to cut to 10%.
