How would you incorporate twice-a-day training with the specialization routines? Just do the split on muscle groups you're specializing on?
Or can the non-specialized muscle groups handle more?

Same rules would apply and I probably ONLY do two-per-day training for specialization bodyparts and maintenance work once/day. So for say quads, back

Mon/Fri: quads/back two a days
Wed: everything else maintenance. One workout on that day.

Lyle was wondering on the series if you were going to discuss the nutrition aspect at all?

If important enough to? Like how to structure refeeds around these days, if someone is incorporating your protocols used in (GFD). Where/When the majority of your calories should be placed (time in the day)?

Or is that really just up to the individual and the goals they are pursing at that time. And just make sure you get some calories in-between both workouts.

"Of course after each of your bodybuilding workouts, you will want to make sure we can eat. We can certainly quibble/argue about the need for optimal pre/intra/post workout nutrition under most conditions but two-a-day training is a different animal and you’ll want to make sure that you’re sufficiently fueled after each workout to make sure you can not only get through the second workout but maintain an optimal growth mileu (man I love that word).
