Lyle: Perhaps keto is not a fad to you since you know it's been around for a long time. But the news and markets and bookstores are filled with "keto" everything (at least it seems more prevalent in the past year or so). JMHO.
I'd still like an answer to the above question if possible. I read the article. I think I understand that when the body has no carbs for glucose, it looks for fat (or muscle?) for energy. In trying to optimize fat loss vs. weight loss, is resistance training sufficient? And if ketosis doesn't matter and resistance training is more conducive to targeting stored fat how so?
