Week 2 Day 3 99.7kg (-0.0kg / -1.5kg)

Hoping for a little drop today. Ate heavy and late last night so not really surprising. Just letting the calories and workouts do their thing.

Thanks. Yeah, that would be amazing. How would I find you? I'm on myfitnesspal often when I'm zoned into my diet and simple meal ideas I'm always on the lookout for simple diet recipes. Cheers. :-)

Nice little progress even though all i did was walk for 5km yesterday. Over 2kgs in a week whilst not being hungry is nice.

I have a question and open to thoughts about refeeds whilst intermittent fasting?
My calories are around 2000-2200 per day even on training days. At what stage would refeeds be incorporated if any?

Cheers
Neil
Well reading the leangains approach you're suppose to have a weekly deficit but you manage it in a way that on your training days you consume more calories than on your rest days, and this is consider a refeed for the body, it all depends of how big your deficit is.

The good thing here is that 20% of your total cals can be trash food which helps a lot to stick to the program. Good luck!

Week 2 Day 4 99.00kg (-0.7kg / -2.2kg)

Nice little whoosh overnight and feel that my weight loss is stablising in terms of water loss v fat loss. I would expect to see another -0.5kg in the following three days to round off the week and put me firmly in the 98's. I would be pleased with that.

@Cowboy - i would say my deficit on training days is 800 calories. I can incorporate lower calories on rest days. If I double train at crossfit (e.g. Oly weightlifting then the metcon then I will increase those calories to around 2500 for the increased activity

@jimike you can add me as a friend on myfitnesspal username neilnacarter

Happy to share some recipes also.

One thing to consider is that if you measure in lbs instead of kilos you will lose weight faster because pounds weigh less.

Thank you Lyle. This website is a game changer once you understand the mechanisms behind fat loss/muscle gain.

Spun my wheels for years prior to finding this site.

@BeatitoutofMe laughing out loud - are you drunk?

Week 2 Day 5 98.6kg (-0.4kg / -2.6kg)

I managed to reach my week goal so now the effort will be to maintain at this weight for the remainder of the week. Am taking a rest day today and will reduce my calories but keep protein high.

Training last night was literally 15 mins of brutality

12-9-6
Snatch
Overhead Squat
Thruster

at 60kg.

I am having a total rest day today and maybe increase carbs by a little for pseudo refeed.

Week 2 24/06/2017 98.3 (-0.0kg / -2.9kg)
Week 3 25/06/2017 98.5 (+0.2kg / -2.7kg)
Week 3 26/06/2017 98.1 (-0.4kg / -3.1kg)
Week 3 27/06/2017 97.8 (-0.3kg / -3.4kg)

Well, that was the first weekend that I didnt put on any serious kilos which was very pleasing and to top it off early in week 3 I have hit a new low and into the 97.kgs

Admittedly I felt quite dry this morning after a bad nights sleep because of a new whining puppy. I will really try and not let my training suffer from it though.

Progress photo to be uploaded soon.

Week 3 Day 4 97.5kg (-0.3kg / -3.2kg)
Week 3 Day 5 unknown travelling
Week 3 Day 6 unknow travelling

A couple of compulsory rest days and back to normal timing on the eating whilst travelling. Trying to keep it within the light kind of eating.

May have a kilo of gain if that. also the 97.5kg i was fairly dry.
