Default NOT THAT Flexible???

I'm doing about a 50% deficit, about 180g protein, 100 (+/-)g carb and <50g of fat. Very RFLish, but those 2 or 3 slices of bread and an apple make it virtually painless VS RFL. I'm refeeding once per week, even though I don't "feel" the need.

I'm wondering for how long this will be effective. Any thoughts out there?

Currently 204 lbs (post-refeed) and about 15% BF for those who haven't checked out my log... Thanks in advance.

Assuming your target is losing around 15-20lbs (which should hopefully get you to around the 10% mark):

Your present calories are low enough to still be a very substantial deficit even after dropping that amount of weight.

The diet is in that case capable of being effective for quite a while. Provided you can put up with it.

It will stop tomorrow.

Not because your body decided it's time to stop.

Because you brain convinced/tricked you to think it's stopped... at 17% bf.

Thanks Peter. I'm pretty sure with the once a week refeed and a free meal every now and then, I can sustain this type of dieting indefinitely. Or at least until it no longer works, or I reach my goal. That remains to be seen as
I've never gone below what I think was about 12-13% bodyfat about 15 years ago, so I'm approaching uncharted territory. I'm estimating I need to get to about 187 to hit 10%. As of today I'm sitting at 199....
