Default CKD and Oly Lifting?

I'm eager to start Olympic lifting (with powerlifting elements) again. However I do tend to put on excess body fat when I do this type of training. Would a cyclical keto diet be ok? How would I restructure the diet and exercise part?

I would be concerned about dehydration from ketosis. Why not just moderate carbs and control your calories?
