Default Question regarding depth of niceness required here

Say, someone like Eszekial starts a bro-tard training log that doesn't have anything to do with forum products... Like this training log right here.

What is appropriate for comments in it?

a). "This thread belongs at BB.com, you gutless pussy."
b). "This thread belongs at BB.com."
c). "Good luck with your muscles!"
d). Nothing. Do not comment. Let the moron have his thread in peace.
e). Start a new thread trashing him on BR.com instead.

.

I tried to delete this after thinking about it a bit, but apparently you can't delete posts at all here. So...... I apologize for being overly mean (but not to Eszekial).

the thing I want to aoid here is something that essentially became a game to many on the other forum: pointless, idiotic, bullying of newbies.

as I mentioned over there, I am just as guilty of it as anyone else so before anybody plays the hypocrite card, I'm holding myself to the same rules here that I expect of anyone else.

keeping the language toned down a bit would not hurt either, I'm not putting any censorship in and would rather not have to do it but if it gets out of control, I may make a comment.

being honest with people is never a bad thing in my book, too many people get hand-held in terms of following poor approaches and pointing out flaws in that is fair game as far as I'm concerned.

there are simply better and worse ways of doing it and some of the tone/language at the old board was not what people wanted

hope that clears it up

Lyle,

Guess i should add- I gave up on the old site for just that reason.

I found it frequently mean-spirited and not all that useful.

I went looking for the site again hoping it had improved and found the new version.

Yes, but D was derogatory.

You chose a derogatory response. Shame on you, Kimmie!

And also, C has sarcastic connotations. That's not very supportive either.
