It all comes down to making compromises. If you do heavy overhead press first then your pressing won't be as fresh/good on bench. And vice versa. Jim Wendler (5/3/1 author) says to evaluate your military press max after doing bench, not before.

I still do military press once a week and it's after both db bench and db rows.
