Fasted training & BCAA's
I read the fasted training and BCAA discussion. Here's the thing I am now wondering:
I train in the morning: wake up at 6, train until 8 and eat my first food of the day somewhere between 11-13h. Now, I never take any BCAA's. So far, my lifts are up and I am losing fat.
My question is whether I am underestimating the importance of BCAA's (or protein in general) pre-workout (or immediately post-workout). Would the benefits of taking BCAA really be noticeable in the long run?
Generally I don't like to support the supplement industry apart from multi-vitamins, fish-oil and protein powders. Also, the simplicity of just 2-3 meals a day is why I do IF in the first place and I like to keep things simple. Lift heavy, eat what I need to eat by the end of the day. Would a little more 'micro-management' be of any benefit to me?
