Default Hit the wall

Started this diet 3 weeks ago and so far VERY happy with the result.
Its been hard, very hard but I have put 100% into it including the workout.
When I leave the gym I am done, can barely walk out the door.
Looking in the mirror on Saturday morning has been "damn I am hot"

But...
Last Thursday evening before my workout I just hit the wall.
Could not get my butt up to go and I was totally drained.
Friday the same and Saturday was brutal.
Went to bed Saturday at 8:30 pm.

Sunday better and feel good again today.

Any idea why I would hit the wall so damn bad?
I am guessing it could be my CNS totally worn out?

Sounds like overreaching to me. I've found that I can go 2 weeks pushing my body really hard, and then I have to back off for a week, which means working out at less intensity / volume / lighter weights. Just enough so that when I leave the gym, I'm not completely wiped out.

Note: I'm not doing UD2.0, so take that fwiw.

So you are saying I am not superman?

I was thinking the same, maybe I pushed it to hard on little calories and I just couldnt hang.

Will see how this week goes.

Thanks..

It's a tough diet, and depletion work on low cals can realllly knock the stuffing out of you. But, you felt completely recovered after the carb load - as you should.

As you say, why not play it by ear this week.

Yeah, I remember having those days. Usually in the first part of the week near a depletion workout. Sometimes it just sucked and I hated it. But then when carb-load day got here, I was all over the UD2 and back to thinking it was the best diet ever. And I LOVED the power workouts - always so freaking strong on that day.

Ditto. That's pretty much how it plays out for me too.
