Default Everyone's carb-up junk food.

We all know the general stuff like bagels, pasta, and bread, but what's everyone's preferred junk food source for high carb/low fat foods?

Mine would have to be ff frozen yogurt/ice cream and gummy bears...

My staple has been frosted mini-wheats.

I'm adding breyer's fat free double churn chocolate for my carbload that starts later today.

I've never really added up the sugar though. Just did some basic calculations for a carb load that includes bagels, white rice, frosted mini wheats, skim milk, and breyers.

Damn bagels have a lot of sugar in them.

And one large bowl of frosted mini-wheats has 30g of sugar while 2 cups of breyers fat free has 60!

Curious how far folks push the sucrose. My carbup fun looks like it accounts for 150g of sucrose.

My 3 refeeds were heavily cereal/pasta/oat based, with a variety of grains being the bulk of the carbs. At the last refeed I also enjoyed a couple servings of ff frozen yogurt.

I actively tried to keep most of the calories in glucose compared to being sucrose, but I didnt count them separately in the end. Just tried to consume sources that were heavier in grains. Main thing was I stuck to the lower fiber carb sources early in the day, and moved to the higher fiber carbs later on. Probably didnt matter in the least though, who knows.

Thinking of it, I should have had some corn and peas also.

Ugh...this thread is just making me hungry. These low cal/low carb days AND depletion workouts just kill me. Hate them! So hungry today. Is it Friday yet (I start my carb loads Friday evenings)?

It's only Wednesday and I'm already thinking about my carb load non-stop: soft pretzels, bagels, pasta, boboli, capn crunch or golden grahams, FF Breyers, bread, low-fat Eggos....etc, etc, etc. Sigh....

I love chex.

I think I have to run out and get some of this.

Especially if it helps with gas.
