Default Left lower abdominal seems fatter than right?

I did a search and couldn't find anything, so forgive me if this has been brought up before. Or I am just not good searching terms.

Anyway, I've always noticed that as I'm dropping BF % my left lower abdominal will lag my right side in terms of leanness. I can pinch more and when I flex, it is noticeably less lean. Once I'm very lean, it tends to be less noticeable, but still there.

Is this something I can fix with training? Is it maybe my left abdominal wall just isn't as developed? If so, what would you recommend?

Or, is this just a weird thing that is in my head (which I doubt) and I cannot fix with training?

I am the exact opposite, lower right is fatter than left, in fact my right half is fatter than my left. It wouldn't shock me if I'm a chimera and my right side is from my evil twin.

That’s funny stuff.

I look equally bad on both sides.

Ha, I hear ya. I know asymmetry is normal, I just want to figure out if training to build up my left side can be the antidote or if the answer is "lose more fat, fatty".

I don't think I have ever seen symmetrical abs, not even in bodybuilders. I have the same problem and I've doing ab training for 2+ years, my left abs look more developed and leaner than my right.

Since the abs are technically one muscle I doubt it can be fixed, id just embrace it.
