Default Suggestion of deficit for the 14-day cycle of UD

Hi guys
Lyle speaks in his addendum to UD 2.0 that in the 14 day cycle a daily deficit between 20-30% is recommended, but that could go up to 50% if you wish.
I have the following intention:

Make 30% more cardio deficit on the days I train (which will yield me a deficit between 30% -40%).
AND
Make a 50% deficit in cardio days.

What is your opinion?
Has anyone tested the 14-day UD cycle with a deficit greater than 20-30%?

Done it with psmf+refeed style which is close to a 50% drop. Didn't do cardio. Sucked but effective.

So, is it sensible to make the -50% deficit for 10 days?

I was confused because Lyle says "you can go for the total deficit of 50%" and still quotes low intensity cardio on rest days.
