Fats were high because I had salmon for lunch instead of taking fish oil caps. Still, my total calorie intake was around 1120. It's bizarre how after just a few days on a PSMF diet, this seems high.

Exercise was just 30 min of walking. I wouldn't even say it was a brisk walk, given how sore I was/am from squats.

Scale is being stubborn. Frustrating, but what can you do?

Scale is still stuck. That's not the only thing that feels stuck, but that's between me and my fiber supplements.

35 min LISS. Legs still a bit sore from the lower body workout of 3 days ago. Time to hit them again today (5/16).

Very inspirational log!

Unbelievable actually. I am not done reading it all but wanted to say "I'm stalking it".

I want to be just like you when I grow up.

Kick it. That's what I do. Or re-weight yourself 27 times. I do that too. Can't tell you how many times I've almost been late to work obsessing over that damn weighing machine thingy... Amazing how much power inanimate objects can hold over some of of us, eh? Well, me anyways! Cigarettes used to do that to me. And I let 'em for 23 years....Oh, and yes. Welcome back!

Ha. Yes, I've tried kicking it, taking the battery out and putting it back in again, and run multiple experiments with putting it on a tile floor vs. a bath rug. I blame the fact that I store it upright, against the explicit instructions of the manufacturer.

Aw, I'm blushing. Thanks!

Lower body workout. Strength is coming back slowly, although it's probably neurological adaptation rather than actual muscle gain. Still, I'll take it.

Went to a late afternoon reception for work. A lot of fancy-pants hors d'oeuvres, but not a single one that was diet friendly. C'mon, peeps, at least put out a veggie tray! (Oh, I'm sorry: "crudites", in keeping with the fancy-pants theme.) So, I stuck with Diet Sierra Mist. Whee.

Free meal this weekend. Just have to decide if it'll be at a friend's birthday party on Saturday, or at a dinner with friends on Sunday. I think it's easier, from a social acceptability standpoint, to keep on a strict diet at a big gathering as opposed to a small dinner party, which is a vote for a Sunday free meal. Then again, a nice hoppy IPA sure sounds good, and the Sunday gathering won't be that kind of party. Oh, the conundrums of the summer social schedule...

5/18 & 5/19
I didn't log macros, but I feel reasonably good about my choices over the weekend: the usual diet food during the day, modest portions of the best food choices that were available at the two dinner events. Oh, and 3 beers on Sat -- my IPA fix! -- and a glass of wine on Sunday.

The bad news is that I had a major work project to complete this weekend. So, no exercise to speak of, except a couple of brief walks.

My plan is to continue with a modest deficit this week, introducing a few more carbs than I've been eating over the past couple of weeks of PSMF. We're taking a mini-vacation next weekend, after which I'll see where I am and how I'm feeling. Would like to get back into Ud2.0 range.
