Default yohimbine and Flomax

Lyle,

Let's say, hypothetically, that a 53 year old Jewish male nurse is taking Flomax for a slightly enlarged prostate.

Flomax is an alpha 1a antagonist.

Any effect on lipolysis? Any interaction with alpha 2 antagonists like yohimbine?

I'm getting used to the cover. My nursing administrator wants to know why Sporto's grabbing his crotch?

David

Default

fat cells have alph-1 receptors but it's involved in glucose metabolism, no impact on lipolysis that I've ever seen mentioned

I don't think there'd be any interaction
