Default Cheapest Bulk Whey (with flavor)

I've used True Nutrition, Myprotein, Amazon is there any other brands or places to get 5+ 10 lbs of whey with flavor for the cheapest price.

I've never found anything cheaper that is as good quality than ON from Amazon plus Prime free shipping. Even TP doesn't beat it.

Prob a tad late on this, but I have found that you can get 10lbs of whey from smartpowders.com (It's the smartpowders generic) for around $74.

I think their chocolate tastes a lot like carnation instant cocoa mix, and the chocolate peanut butter is pretty good too. I don't care for vanilla anything, so not sure on that one.

Either way, I know that smartpowders is using scivation and relabeling it as their generic. (I know this because I ordered the generic and they sent me the scivation labeled product instead and it looked, smelled, and tasted exactly the same as the generic I still had on hand)

Not sure how scivation ranks, but it's an option if you are interested. I did have to pay around 10 bucks to ship it.

I did some quick math, because I'm always looking for cheap yet tasty sources of whey.

Their current price for 10lbs of their house brand chocolate peanut butter flavor (http://smartpowders.com/products/whe...peanut-butter/) is $59.98 + $12.17 shipping via FedEx ground (cheapest method) = $72.15 total.

Now, looking at the provided label (which is for a 5# container) I see that they claim 22g protein per serving x 72 servings = 1,584g protein per 5# container, so double that for a 10#, or 3,168g protein in 10# container.

Now, when comparing prices on protein, I normalize everything to price per 30g serving for comparison purposes. So, now following the same method we take our 3,168g of protein and / 30 to get 105.6 servings. And $72.15 (total shipped cost, above) / 105.6 servings = $0.68 per serving. Which makes this the cheapest protein anyone has found anywhere to date. Which leads me to a few questions:

1.Is $59.98 (+S&H) their normal price, or is this a sale?
2.Any information on whether this product actually contains the claimed amount of protein?
3.Pocketcow says it tastes good, anyone else? You know, before I order 10lbs of the stuff for the first time and discover I think it tastes like butt. lol

Well, in trying to answer my own question #2, above, I searched labdoor.com for "smart", "smartpowder", and "scivation", all to no avail.

Use this: http://slickdeals.net/

Search "whey" and find what you like. Deals come and go.

I've ordered stuff from smartpowders before and they are great. Only problem is the high shipping cost.

8lbs for $54 here: http://slickdeals.net/f/7916123-8lbs...src=SiteSearch

I've been using Met-Rx Natural Whey (chocolate) from amazon. It's about $42 for a 5 lbs.

Shipping cost is already included in my calculations. My figure is the "out the door" price per serving, normalized to cost per 30g of protein.

Doing some math on the linked deal, I was able to put 2x 4lb deals (assuming 2x 2lb containers per 4lb deal) into my cart, and successfully apply the code for the free shipping. So, 8lbs as advertised for $52.12 shipped.

Taking this a step further, we have 30 servings per 2# container x 21g protein per serving = 630g protein per 2# container x 4 containers (in 8# deal) = 2,520 total g protein / 30g protein per serving = 84 servings.

Now, the cost of $52.12 shipped / (84) 30g servings = $0.62 per 30g of protein. Which makes this the new weiner.

Next questions:
1.How does it taste?
2.Can I find any lab results guaranteeing the protein amount in the product?

EDIT: I cannot find any results for this particular Dymatize product on Labdoor.

Which leads me to another more general question:
3.Are there any other places (besides labdoor) who test protein contents?
