Default The past few days...

Since arriving back from my trip I've been laid up with man-flu (we all know this is the worst illness a guy could catch )

I've not really stuck to RFL during this period due to generally feeling crap as it was anyway!!

I took a dirty refeed of a medium dominos meateor last night, yet to my surprise I woke up this morning weighing less and feeling slightly leaner!!

May 1, 2016 170.6Lbs. (77.5kg) -0.2Lbs. (-0.1kg) -0.1%
*This will be my starting point for round two of my RFL/PSMF experience*

Apr 30, 2016 170.8Lbs. (77.6kg) 1.6Lbs. (0.7kg) 0.9%
Apr 29, 2016 169.2Lbs. (76.9kg) -0.4Lbs. (-0.2kg) -0.2%
Apr 28, 2016 169.6Lbs. (77.1kg) -3.4Lbs. (-1.5kg) -2.0% (1st weigh-in after trip, where I ate anything I wanted - however did my best to keep protein high!)
Apr 21, 2016 173.0Lbs. (78.6kg) 3.0Lbs. (1.4kg) 1.8% (last weigh-in before trip)

It's bank holiday here in the UK tomorrow, and I'm still I'll. I aim to get fuly back into RFL, but I wont kick myself if I dont. These next 2 weeks I am setting high expectations
Target: hit 160lbs, or lower!

If anyone reading my blurb would like to chime in please do! It seems pointless otherwise me logging on here!!

When I got the man flu a few months ago it was the best diet plan ever

I think I lost 10 pounds in 10 days. Sure I had no energy and probably ate one full meal the whole time but if weight loss is what you're after that's one way to get it!

May 2, 2016 170.2Lbs.

Slowly coming down...bit disappointed at the rate it's slowed to

Still got tension in my head from the flu, but most of the symptoms have subsided! Appetite back, so back on the fat burner to help!!

Nice log! You're doing well. How lean are you trying to get?

Thanks for your comment...I'm currently around 19-20% bodyfat, and I was looking to get as lean as possible in the time frame I have!

I finished my 4th week, and have decided to transition in to a more regular diet. I feel much better for having lost cira 15lbs in such a short period of time, but I'm not seeing any benefit. I want to be able to put effort into my training, and I need to perform cardio (for football) so I think I've made the right choice for me.

This week I'll be introducing approx 50-100g carbs, based around my first 3 meals of the day - which is at workout times too! Fat will be kept low, and protein will be @ 1.2g x lbs. of bodyweight. This way I can train harder, do some cardio, and still be losing weight whilst maintaining lean mass hopefully.

Default Final week, and overall thoughts...

Final weight as of this morning, after a relaxed day celebrating my nephews birthday yesterday which included cake & a chinese!

May 9, 2016 168.2Lbs. (76.5kg) 2.4Lbs. (1.1kg) 1.4%

May 8, 2016 165.8Lbs. (75.4kg) 0.0Lbs. (0.0kg) 0.0%
May 7, 2016 165.8Lbs. (75.4kg) -0.6Lbs. (-0.3kg) -0.4%
May 6, 2016 166.4Lbs. (75.6kg) 1.2Lbs. (0.5kg) 0.7%
May 5, 2016 165.2Lbs. (75.1kg) -0.6Lbs. (-0.3kg) -0.4%
May 4, 2016 165.8Lbs. (75.4kg) -1.9Lbs. (-0.9kg) -1.1%
May 3, 2016 167.7Lbs. (76.2kg) -2.5Lbs. (-1.1kg) -1.5%
May 2, 2016 170.2Lbs. (77.4kg) -0.4Lbs. (-0.2kg)

Overall I found PSMF quite easy! The first few days caused severe headaches, but they soon cleared. I have slimmed down, and feel much better & clothes which weren't comfortable are now fitting, and some are even too big!

I've decided to transition to something more sustainable, the past week felt like things had slowed down for me, my training wasnt fun and I kind'a miss cardio!!
I've chosen to follow Kris Gethin's 4 week shred program from BB.com as this will take me up to my honeymoon date! I WILL run another round or two of PSMF in the near future in the aim of dropping more bodyfat!

My Omron scale had be at approx 25.1% bodyfat at the begining of April, this morning I'm down to 21.9%...so I'm heading in the right direction & I believe I can continue this without drastically reducing cals!!

Thanks for reading
