Default Over use Injuries

Guys,

A few months ago I hurt my left forearm.. It's still hurting now, just not as bad. Two weeks ago I felt a pain near my front left deltoid. It's like where my pec meets my shoulder. I went to a PT who said it might be the bicep tendon where it meets the pec.

I don't know how it happened but I felt it after bench press, and then incline flys. Flys hurt like hell now.

I am thinking these injuries are all coming from the bench press. Would this make sense? I tried switching to dumbbells, and it doesn't hurt as much in the area, but I still feel a bit of pain in the forearm. Anyone have any suggestions?

First of all, stop doing whatever causes the pain.

And solve tendinitis with higher reps (with sub-maximal loads) and slow eccentrics. Isometrics are also useful.

So reduce volume per session, and also intensity (tendons like lower load higher rep stuff).

Also find a grip that upsets it the least. DBs might be better for this than barbells.

And also try isometrics and eccentric exercises for the forearms to help reduce pain from the tendinitis/tendinopathy.

If you're running into pain with chest work, make sure your pec minor isn't tight. Pec minor is the root of all evil.
