So it seems yoga is another thing to add to cycling where the GWF isn't quite up to speed. It makes sense because it senses motion and we don't move "around" a lot, but we do spend considerable time contracting large muscle groups, doing abdominal work, pushups, etc.
So you manually edit it to increase your expenditure, but believe that it is over-counting your expenditure? Why not just assume it is over-counting somewhere else and not edit at all?

Today I put it on and went swimming. It won't upload the data. Why?

Is this rhetorical or did you truly wear it in the water?

He knows better. I wish the thing did work for swimming since this is the majority of my exercise activity.

yea, it was a lame joke. however, since it's pretty darn accurate, I wish there was a way to track your expenditure when swimming.

Default lylez was right!

~30 mins of depletion work (3-4X 15-25 per body part) plus 3 30/30 balls out intervals:

a whopping 180 kcal

35 mins of mod. intensity (HR 135-145) cardio followed by 10 mins of gradual cool down:

~340 kcal

2.5 hrs of packing boxes with my mom in preparation for moving:

~500 kcal

a really slow and boring < 6 hour bartending shift:

1254 kcal

with a trip to the gym, I ended up at 3000 (500 over maintenance, as I'd expect and which has worked as an assumption for quite a while)

with running some errands and working a lame and short shift, I ended up at 3350...so much for an 'off day'

HAHAHA
jesus. assuming accuracy, or even precision, this explains quite a bit...

seriously after I saw the data I blasted my last diet meal with olive oil for fear of having too big a deficit lol

some other monstrosities:

running errands/shopping/browsing rocks cardio

sleeping rocks laying down

playing video games rocks sitting and reading

pacing while I smoke a cigarette gets some major metabolic fire going lol
